The Townhouses - Title Music (From Merchant Ivory’s Film “Bombay Talkie”).
Cover of a lovely tune made popular in ‘the Darjeeling Limited’. Got the title from the soundtrack, seems a bit of an excessive one though (maybe a tad Panic! at the Disco inspired?). Nonetheless it was a good excuse to take out the banjo and pretend I can play it based on my guitar skills.

The Townhouses - Tokyo Monster
See, I’m not a great singer. BUT I’m becoming a wiz at recording. So if i layer it with effects… ta-dah! This is for all you Electric President/Hellogoodbye kinda electronic pop fans. Also, around the 2 minute mark I hit the exact tone that’s so typical of the Knife on the Silent Shout album. A proud achievement. Good Day…

Didi: Stu, what are you doing?
Stu: Making chocolate pudding.
Didi: It’s four o’clock in the morning! Why on earth are you making chocolate pudding?
Stu: Because I’ve lost control of my life.

The Townhouses - Boy Flavour
Thankyou to everyone who came to the EP launch. Here is a present.
WARNING; Contains trip-hop influences, over-panning and that dreaded ‘koto’ sound on every keyboard from 1970’s onwards.
