The set I played last night was probably the first Townhouses set that felt 100% right. With this new album 80% done, I’m finally totally comfortable in the direction I’m heading. It was also the first time ever that I thought the live sounds matched up to the recordings. So now it’s inevitable that I will be one of those awful artists who only plays their most recent material.

A very good day is turning very ordinary. Too hot to deal with music equipment playing up the day before a show I was going to do a completely new set at.
